Color Run on Amwaj - Saturday 16th January

The Color Run is taking place around Amwaj this Saturday at 2pm - here's the route, so you can plan to avoid it if you want to........ (if you want to run it, I think it is full up)........

Do you mean 'what is it'? It's a 5K run (1K for children) where lots of different coloured paint gets sprayed at the runners! If you want to join in, I think it is fully booked, but you could try emailing Bahrain Road Runners (see their Facebook page or website) today to see if there is space.

If you mean 'what will happen to the roads', then the route is fem the marina, along in front of the new hotel, past the Lagoon, to the Meena 7 roundabout, and then back to the Marina. Presumably some lanes of the roads will be closed for the afternoon to allow the runners to do the route, but hopefully they will keep some lanes open too s that traffic can get around.
