Dear That really depends on your standard of living. However, a typical western expat could easily settle well with an avg monthly income of USD 7K to 10K. On the other hand an Asian expat will also sustain an avg monthly income of USD 5-8K quite ok. Locals somewhere in the middle. Hope this helps.
